Gosh this makes me so homesick right now

I'm from New Orleans but away at college so no Mardi Gras Festivities for me this year :/ Really nice work, it made me smile

and I have a nasty case of pneumonia right now so thats a hard thing to do XD

My family were supposed to go to New Orleans this year, but our plans were derailed.

Are you getting the proper medication for your pneumonia? Hope you're doing better.

I'm doing tons better, the medicine the campus health center gave me worked like a charm

I hope you get the chance to go sometime soon! French Quarter = Wicked Awesome

definitely go to Cafe du Monde but don't get freaked out by the crazy long line (it literally goes out the entrance and down the street) it always moves fast. Also of course visit the Cathedral, other landmarks and the museums on either side of the Cathedral (ones Louisiana history and the other is the Hurricane Katrina museum which is sooooo cool!)

_{That's great! School, my university is raising its tuition due to cutting the funds. Ah, it's ok. I went there my freshmen year in college, and while I had fun, I went to the French Quarter at night...wow. It was a great experience, and I'd love to go back. I've heard of Cafe du Monde, and yes, I want to eat their fancy tasting food! All of those places I will-must visit when I get the chance. Thank you for the information!}
