My mom always told me that dreaming about the teeth falling out is symbolically a very good thing (I usually dream that myself a lot too.) Apparently the teeth stands for different ages in your life, so losing them means you're ready to approach a new "chapter"... The last time I dreamt about my teeth I dreamt that I had a really special one, that kind of curled up in my cheek and looked like a huge shell. And when I lost it I was so nervous the new one that would grow out wouldn't look the same. When I told it to my mum she said that meant I'm nervous about my new busy lifestyle (I have a full time job for the first time in my life) will make me lose my creativity.
I'm sorry if this became to long and nagging; it's just that I think dreams and symbols are so interesting. And I really love this piece of art you've made out of your nightmare!! It is truly beautiful! I have only made one painting inspired by a nightmare of mine, it's called "Last night I dreamt that my father died". It would be an honour if you would like to check it out: [link]
Nightmares, according to Freud, just reflects our fears. Simple and plain. But the mind it's tricky, and usaually don't say thing that... simple. In the teeth case, if you don't mind I say it, it probably means you're scare because there's no "control", that you can't... handle something. Only you would know, of course. And about the blood... It's usually realeated more to life than death, actually. Or is just your mind trying to warning you abour some king of... problem with your body. Or you have too much stress on you. Don't mind me, I was about to say this paint it's amazing, actually XD
It's very cool to see another side of you (even though it was because of something unpleasant, I hope you feel better!)
This piece is wonderful, and really speaks to your versatility as an artist. It's dark and disturbing, and I love it. I especially like the cracks riddled through the figures body and how they give off a sense of fragility and despair.
Right, since everyone is trying to explain the nightmare about teeth falling out, here's another one I found in my "Dream encyclopedia" XD
'Teeth falling out indicates the person is aware of a change, may it be the change of growing up, or just developing the character. When a woman dreams about her teeth getting loose, it may mean she's afraid to grow old and less atractive. But if the woman dreams about swallowing her teeth, there might be a pregancy involved.'
Besides the nightmares, do you sleep well? Do you try to relax before going to bed? Drink hot milk or take a nice bath... it might help you good luck!
I used to have nightmares about my teeth falling out all the time. According to my mother's culture, dreams about your teeth falling out indicate an upcoming death in your family. Apparently, she's only had a dream like this once and in the following week her favorite aunt died.
As for your submission, I absolutely love these oval designs you've done recently. They'd translate really nicely onto a set of nesting dolls.
This might sound a little superstitious and/or illogical, but have you tried a dreamcatcher? I used to have horrible nightmares like that all the time when I was little, and it might simply be the belief in the object (a placebo effect maybe?), but my nightmares stopped after I got one. Now I kind of collect them XD
I get the teeth falling out ones a lot myself. When I'm not getting those--I dream of flapping my arms and slightly hovering above ground to get places--basically a flight dream--but not quite so high up.

nightmares might be from stress or worry, or even not having a good sleeping schedule. try your best not to worry about what you dream, they might mean nothing. i hope you do sleep well soon though and not have nightmares bother you!
nightmares aside, i think this is a beautiful piece! the details on the face mask thing makes it feel very haunting :0 i also love how you made the blood cover her all body. really eerie.
