awwwh, I always feel so sorry for these smooshed face cats and dogs. I'd rescue one from shelter but I'd never buy one as I can't help but thinking breeding an animal who's looks are valued more than their ability to breathe is just a bit wrong.
I'm glad he has a willing slave to keep him cleaned up though!
If you crawl on the floor of my apt at kitty-eye level there will be all these little reddish speckles of eye-boogies from my Himmie shaking his head if I dont get to him first, I feel really bad for him (and all peke face kitties) it's not their fault they were bred that way ;_;
Yeah, these cats tend to be prone to sinus problems ._. an ex-boyfriend of my mom's had an orange one (nicknamed Jerbo) and we had to cat sit him for a bit... eye goopies and snot everywhere. Had the cutest meow for a boy cat though.
So cute and so true, lol! I adopted my little Gary Jerome when his owner didn't want him any more. He was already an adult and would probably have been put down. 10 years later, not only am I his devoted eye snot cleaning slave, but I bet I've cleaned more Poopy Butt than the parent of a human child. Oh well! He's hilarious and my special little garebear.
