I adore your Snarry fanart, their relationship is so intimate and chaotically wonderful, beautiful portrait and a fair send off to one of my most beloved characters. Thanks so much and although I'm sure you're quite done with Snarry & possibly the Count of Monte Cristo, I really appreciate your fan art of it and wish that possibly in the future they will give you inspiration again
I was just glimpsing through your wonderful gallery again, and I saw this. I noticed no one said this in the comments...Rowling gave a public interview at Carnegie Hall in NYC a few months after Deathly Hallows and a fan ask a question regarding Snape: "...because it was very important to me, I know Harry would have insisted that Snape's portrait was on that wall, right beside Dumbledore's. As for whether Harry would go back to talk to him, I think, I'm not sure he would have done." I think this is a strong indication that Harry made sure that Snape got a proper burial...they weren't real "friends," or at least Harry didn't think of his feelings towards Snape as that, but Harry did have a lot of respect for Snape, in the end. Harry did the same for Dobby, and Cedric, and even best he could for Mad-Eye, so I definitely think he did the same for Snape as well. So, in a way, it could be a little Snarry. Sorry this was so long, but I just thought I'd say...I love your Snarry art! It really was what pushed me over the line and into the Snarry fandom...all of your pieces are so lovely, how could I not like them and the pairing! Thanks for helping me find a new fandom!
I thought that his death scene was appropriate, from a literary point of view. Yes, he deserved a better death, but the irony of dying in the place where he once nearly died by the hand of the "Light" (Sirius Black), along with the misfortune of no one knowing his role until after his death adds to the brutality and tragedy of his character. It's even sadder when you consider that his true identity might have died with Harry.
Snape expected that his name would never be cleared and that he would go down as one of the most despised wizards (despite all that he sacrificed). He would rather have had it that way, being an unsung martyr. That's what made him the bravest man, and a true hero.
Now that we all know what a hero he was, Deathly Hallows Part II will give him a better send-off. Apparently JKR loves it, and it made one of the designers of the movie cried at it!
I'm done lecturing, Snape's just my favourite character. Great work, by the way!
Beautifully-drawn. I hated how JKR left him without a proper ending in the Shrieking Shrek, he deserved a better ending somewhat Somehow your drawing made the ending a perfect one. Harry would want a proper burial for him as he owes Severus his whole life.
Beautiful, even though I'm not a Snarry fan, this is simply beautiful.
Perhaps there's no burial scene for him in DH because when they went to the Shrieking Shack to retrieve his body, it was gone...because obviously, a smart wizard and talented potions master would have been prepared for such a situation and he's actually still alive...wishful thinking...
*sniff sniff* SOOOBBBSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! SO GREAT!!

Believe it was just good camouflage from them, because I hope noone could really live such type of life as She had described.. For my good-mminded state, I must believe, that all Epilog is fake, because it is one of the most terrible thing I have ever read. O
