I like how studied and exact this feels - it's very much a posed portrait. There's something severe and skull-like about her as well. Daisies might mean innocence, but this Snow White looks like she's seen a lot.
You know, the lighting and coloring of this makes Snow White look sickish and faded. Which I actually like. In a way, it gives it a twist, to me. She's not one of my favorite princesses and I actually have a hard time liking anything that is related to her, as I consider her to be one of the most superficial and boring princesses of the bunch, probably stemming from the fact that her movie is so old.
I like this. While Snow White isn't my favorite Disney Princess, this picture has made her more human. Like Chibi-Dracul said, she lost her innocence, which was the thing that made her beautiful.
I like to think that this shows a Snow White after her adventures. I love the gaunt look in her face and how stringy her hair looks. She looks like something happened to her which was stressful enough to strip her of her beauty. She looks warn out, and slightly less sane.
Great job! Are you going to do more like this? Like maybe Cindy and Aurora?
That's an interesting illustration because it feels like you couldn't avoid doing her in a different style than the rest of the series, because you had more and darker things to express about her... I don't find her pretty at all and that's what I like, because you represented a Snow White who lost her innocence, the one thing that made her beautiful
